Water resistance

No bone conduction device processors are waterproof. They must be removed before showering, bathing or swimming.

A waterproof cover is available to purchase for the Cochlear Osia 2 Sound Processor and MED-EL Samba 2 Sound Processor.  This can be bought directly from the manufacturers.

Softwearpads on softbands or SoundArcs must be changed if they get wet.  Softwearpads must be changed every two months.
